Indian kajal dates back to the Bronze Age, around 3,500 BC, and follows the ancient principles of Indian Ayurvedic medicine. This tradition is still being followed today by the Khojati family.

The Eyeyurvedic Kajal is a natural product, soft and delicate. The best way to apply the kajal is with a light touch extending the pencil a little at a time. Also, using a different side of the kajal every time it is applied allows the point to remain sharp without the use of a sharpener, just as you would use a lipstick.
